KC Secure Print is King's new initiative to allow printing anywhere on campus from any type of device. Below are instructions on how to setup your badge to your account and how to print from a King's or personal device on campus.

First Time Badge Setup
To release your print jobs or use the functions of the device, you will first have to pair your King's ID card to the PaperCut system.
Please follow the steps below to tie your ID card to your King's account:
- On the Papercut login screen, tap your King's ID on the card reader to begin.
Note: Depending on your copier, there are three different types of card readers.
Attached are examples below: - After tapping your card on the reader, please type in your full King's email address and your King's password on the device.
- Once you verify your information is correct, select 'Associate Card'.
- The next screen will confirm that you've successfully associated your King's account to your King's ID card.
Printing From King's Owned Device
To print and release a print job with Papercut on a King's Owned device, please follow the steps below:
- When printing a document from the web or software, make sure to print to the following printer: KC Secure Print.
- Your print job will now be held and can be released at any copier running the Papercut software.
You will also receive an email notifying you of your print job pending release.
Note: Your print job will be held for 4 hours. Failure to release at a copier will cause the print job to be deleted. - When you're ready to release your job at your copier of choice, make sure to badge in and select "Print Release" from the main function screen.
Note: If you have multiple print jobs pending, you will have the option to Print All from the screen below. - Any job you send will be visible in the print release queue. Select the job(s) you would like to print from the menu and select 'Print'.
Printing From Personal Device
To print and release a job from your personal device to a King's printer, please follow these steps below:
Note: To use this service, you must be connected to the King’s network. The supported platforms are Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS.
If you navigate here from on campus, there will be a guide and video tutorial for each platform's setup. Regardless of your unique setup, the printer queue you will print to is KC Secure Print.
There are two ways to release your print job:
- If the device has a card reader, you can pair your King's ID to the system. Please follow the instructions above to pair your badge to print. Once you've paired your card to your account, you can release your print job.
- When printing a document from the web or software, make sure to print to the following printer: KC Secure Print.
- Your print job will now be held and can be released at any copier running the Papercut software.
You will also receive an email notifying you of your print job pending release.

- If the device does not have a card reader but a QR code. You can navigate to https://go.kings.edu/release, select your printer, and release your print job(s) to the chosen device.
