What is King's Cash?
King’s Cash functions as an on-premises Flexible Spending Account designed for on campus and off campus purchases with participating vendors.

How to Add Funds as a Student
A King’s student can add funds by cash deposit or credit card.
Cash Deposits
Cash deposits can be made at the PHIL service station located on the first floor of the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, or at the Business Office, located on the first floor of the Administration building.

Credit Card Deposits
All credit card deposits can be processed online through the eAccounts Transact portal located here.
A student’s login will be their full name, with no spaces, and without the @kings.edu extension.
Their password will be their King’s account password.
Once inside the portal, select +Add Money under King's Cash.
The Account will be set to King’s Cash, with the option to set a specific amount or top-off an existing balance.
Depending on your deposit type, enter an amount under Deposit Amount.
Once all information on the screen is confirmed, select ‘Next’.
Finally, you will enter your card information and proceed with your submission.
Accepted card types are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
How to Add Funds to a Student's Account as a Guardian or a Guest
If a guardian or guest would like to add money to a student’s account, they will need to know the student’s full name and their King’s ID number.
Once that information is confirmed, navigate to the Transact portal here and select ‘Make a Guest Deposit’.
Troubleshooting / FAQ
Q: I made a credit card deposit, and the balance is not reflected in my King’s Cash balance.
A: If you run into an issue where you made a credit card deposit, a charge was made to your bank account, and your King’s Cash balance did not update, please contact the Business Office.

Q: When I try to sign into the Transact portal, I receive a notification that ‘The Sign In Username has been locked due to user inactivity. Please contact the campus transaction system administration to resolve this issue.’
A: If you receive this error message regarding an inactive King’s account, please contact the IITS Help Desk.

Q: I lost my ID card; how do I receive a replacement? Will my King's Cash balance be affected?
A: Your King's Cash is tied to your eAccount and your King's ID card is your way of connecting to that account. If your ID card is lost, stolen, or damaged, your balance will remain unaffected. If you need a replacement ID card, the Residence Life office can assist.
