The Microsoft Surface Studio Hub 2 promotes collaboration by allowing you to use a combination of the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams for video conferencing, Microsoft Whiteboard, and support for casting your own content.
Sign In to Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite
The Microsoft Surface Studio Hub 2 allows you to sign into the device with your King's account.
This allows you to access and edit all files stored on your King's OneDrive.
The hub has the entire Microsoft Suite built-in, providing support for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

Video Conferencing with Microsoft Teams
The Surface hub allows you to host a video conference utilizing Microsoft Teams.
Note: Viewing meetings scheduled in advance on the main Welcome screen is a feature we're still developing for our organization.
A meeting can be set up on the spot as an 'Ad-hoc' meeting, or can be scheduled in advance through your local Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Teams client.
Below is a preview of hosting a Teams meeting and using the built-in tools to collaborate.
Microsoft Whiteboard
Microsoft Whiteboard is a collaborative digital canvas that be be used for meetings and engaged learning.

Connection and Projection
The Microsoft Surface Hub supports screen mirroring from devices that utilize Miracast.
This includes devices running a Windows operating system.
How to Project on Windows Device
- Use the shortcut Windows Key + 'K' to bring up the Projection menu.
- Select SF113Hub from the menu.
- Have the checkbox for 'Allow mouse, keyboard, touch, and pen input from this device' enabled.
- Your device will now project to the Surface hub.
Note: To disconnect your display from the hub, select 'Disconnect' in the projection banner in the center of your screen.
Below is a video explaining how you can project your device and utilize other applications when collaborating with the hub.
Ending your Session
Please remember to select the 'End Session' button on the bottom of the taskbar on the Surface hub. This will clear your credentials and reset the device for the next person.
Failure to do will allow anyone in the space to use your account and access your files.
